James Burton

James Burton is managing director, insurance, U.K. and Europe, for LexisNexis® Risk Solutions. In this role, James is responsible for the investment and development of solutions that meet clients’ strategic objectives of transforming critical business processes using data, advanced analytics and machine learning to deliver improved levels of customer experience. He began his career with LexisNexis Risk Solutions via the IIL acquisition.

James previously served as vice president of product management, overseeing the development and execution of product strategy across the business. Prior to joining LexisNexis Risk Solutions, he held various product and analytical roles in loyalty, credit risk and debt management, following several years as a government bond trader. His past employers include Ikano Bank and Equifax. James holds a master’s degree in economics from the University of Nottingham.
